I ordered senior gloves but junior ones showed up instead. The receipt had the right item, but the box definitely didn’t. Customer support took a while to get back to me too

"Support Was Disappointing Compared to Others"
I was really hoping for better help when I needed it, but the customer service just wasn’t great. It took longer than expected to get a useful response, and overall it felt frustrating. I’ve dealt with a few similar companies before, and their support teams were much quicker and more helpful, so this experience definitely stood out in a bad way.

"I had to do an exchange and..."
I had to do an exchange and it took way longer than I thought it would. I kept checking my email while drinking my morning coffee, thinking there’d be some update, but nope. The refund still hasn’t fully been sorted out either, which is kind of frustrating. The item itself was fine, but the whole return situation was a bit of a headache.

"Site is such a hassle to use"
Using this site was frustrating. The menus are all over the place, and the checkout process kept making me second-guess what I was doing. On top of that, it feels like there are little policy loopholes everywhere, where something seems straightforward at first but then there’s some fine print or weird condition that makes it more annoying than it needs to be.

"Everything Feels a Bit Overpriced"
I ordered a few hockey bits and they were fine overall, nothing really wrong with them. But everything in hockey seems to cost way more than it should, and this felt like the same deal. Once shipping was added on, it just didn’t feel like great value. Not a terrible experience, just a bit pricey for what you actually get.

"Wish there was a bit more hockey gear"
I was hoping to find a better selection of hockey gear, but it felt limited when I was browsing. A lot of the sizes I needed were out, and a few brands I was specifically looking for weren’t there either. The site itself was easy enough to use though, so it wasn’t a bad experience or anything, I just couldn’t really find what I needed and ended up ordering from somewhere else.
"Stick only works when it wants to"
I bought a stick from hockeyworld.com it felt cheap as soon as I picked it up. After just one game, the blade was already chipping, and when I took the tape off, it pulled little bits of the stick with it. It’s one of those things that feels like it works when it wants to, which is not what you want from a hockey stick. Definitely not worth what I paid, and I don’t think I’ll be ordering gear from there again

"Shipping took forever and no one followed up"
I ordered from hockeyworld.com and the gear itself was fine once it finally showed up, but the shipping was way slower than I expected. The tracking didn’t update for days, and I was basically just left guessing what was going on. What bothered me most was that there was no real follow-up or update from them, so I had to sit around waiting without much info. Not a total disaster, but I’d be hesitant to order again if I needed anything quickly
"Sizing was off for me"
Maybe it was just the set I ordered, but the sizing didn’t feel right at all. The chart made it seem like I picked the correct size, but the fit was awkward and the pads sat weird. I tried dealing with an exchange, but swapping sizes ended up being more hassle than I expected. I probably wouldn’t buy fitted gear from them again.
